Freehand Quilting

Start with the basic shapes and then learn how to connect those shapes to make a design.  Work with Stitching in the Ditch to stabilize your quilt first and then move on to background fills, how to get out of a tight corner, play with some feathers, practice that exacting piano key border and the detailed match stick designs. 

This is a 2-day hands on class.  Plan to bring a lunch or we can order lunch from a local restaurant.  You will work on your own machine with a “sample” quilt.  The cost for this class is $150 for the 2 days. There is a $25 supply fee or bring your own fabric: 

·         2 pieces of fabric – 2 yards each

·         Batting large enough to match the fabric

·         Due to tension issues we require the use of our threads
